She said that her parents and siblings were equally surprised by the sudden spike in views that her video of Erica Banks’ “Buss It” challenge received on social media.

Ice Spice attributes her current self to ice spice mom, a Dominican. The rapper stated, “My mom’s a bad b—- and she raised me to be just like her,” in an October 2022 Billboard interview.

Charina has been an Ice Spice fan since she was a young child.

Since her daughter was approximately four years old, Charina has been recording her singing in order to preserve her musical talents. Ice Spice revealed to Billboard that those videos are still in her mother’s possession.
